The annual Spirit Halloween stores, that everyone looks forward to opening up in random strip malls throughout their state during the Halloween season, are now opening a brand new holiday store named Spirit Christmas.
It is confirmed by CNBC that 10 stores across the Northeast will be open in November until the end of the year, hopefully giving the same holiday feelings that Spirit Halloween does. The 10 locations are test stores to see if the public will continue to stay invested.
“Spirit Halloween has good business, so I feel like it’ll be the same with Spirit Christmas, because everyone loves Christmas.” Kylee Baulkman, a sophomore at Salisbury High School states.
“Spirit Christmas is a new concept for us, and we’re hopeful it will resonate with our customers,” a Spirit Christmas spokesperson stated.
Much like Spirit Halloween, the goal of Spirit Christmas is to create a festive atmosphere in stores where people can really feel the spirit of the winter season.
The stores will offer Christmas and winter decorations, inflatables, as well as activities like writing letters to the North pole, and getting photographs with Santa.
Many videos are circling about the new store exclaiming how excited the public is for it.
“I think Spirit Christmas is going to have a Santa animatronic.” Caleb Wygand, a sophomore at Salisbury High School gives a prediction on what will be at the new store.
There will be one store in Pennsylvania, four stores in New Jersey, three in New York, and one each in Massachusetts and Connecticut.
Fast Company released a list of pop-up locations for Spirit Christmas.

People rely on other large corporations like Walmart, Target, Lowe’s and Home Depot for good quality and aesthetically pleasing holiday decor. Those stores plan out areas for all their holiday decorations in their stores, but Spirit Halloween offers a one-stop shop for everything Halloween related, and they’re planning to do the same for Spirit Christmas.
