I’ve personally held a bias against Temu for a long time. I decided to buy a few things just to see how good or bad the quality would be for the low prices. When I got the app, it immediately offered me a $300 credit, but I had to purchase three items first. The first three items I bought were a pack of 120 markers for $13.46, a magnetic portable charger for $11.51, and a four-in-one USB USB-C and Lightning charger for $3.39. The items arrived about a week after the purchase.
When it comes to quality these items weren’t at all what I expected. The markers are amazing: very vibrant colors, very little bleed-through on paper, and overall great quality. The charger is very cute and pink. While it does take a while to fully charge, that is expected with a portable charger. In terms of holding a charge, it performs about average compared to other chargers. As for the last item, the four-in-one charger, there’s nothing too special about it.
Overall, my experience with Temu was better than I initially expected. While I had doubts about the quality due to the low prices, I was pleasantly surprised by some of the items, especially the markers. However, as with any budget-friendly platform, quality can be hit or miss.
