Poetry Out Loud 2024 participants.
Salisbury’s winner, Yennifer Hernandez, has been participating in Poetry out Loud for three years. Presenting her poetry has helped her break out of her shell and connect with other passionate artists.
After her original poem won the Salisbury Poetry Out Loud competition, Yennifer went on to compete at the SteelStacks for the POL regional competition. Through this experience she has enjoyed the communication amongst poets as well as the support of her English teacher, Mrs. Anne Ruiz.
