Students in our district are hungry; some can’t afford lunch every day or might not like the food served at lunches. Some students have lunch too early or too late, andthat are hungry before and after lunch.
Studies show that schools that vend food openly show better performance, and students are more focused and energized.– The American Dining Association also says, “They need to eat something after gym class before taking an important exam.”
Students like to eat, that’s a fact. So, it’s nearly impossible for us to concentrate in class when craving food. Students prefer to snack during breaks and this can be assured by the availability of food and drink dispensing vending machines.
The fact that vending machines are accessible during breaks makes them relaxed and extra attentive in class. Normally, it’s the worry of not knowing where to get snacks that makes students less alert in class.
Making this change won’t only benefit students, but the employee morale. Our staff will appreciate having access to food during busy times. When our faculty are happier, they also strive to do their best work, improving your students’ performance and giving your school better outcomes.
A vending machine could save staff a trip off-campus when someone needs a bottle of water or a coffee or tea, any caffeinated drink, to provide the energy to stay caught up on work.
Vending machines also offer 24/7 availability, providing access to goods and services at any time of the day or night to the school employees, and any visitors. This is particularly useful for people who work late shifts or have busy schedules, as they can purchase what they need at their convenience.
Vending machines raise money for schools and are a great source of additional revenue for school districts. Through the use of a vending machine, schools can fund projects and initiatives their current budgets do not account for.
Including a vending machine in your school will not only benefit the school’s revenue but also the quality of life for both students and staff. Time spent in between classes is short and usually rushed. A hungry student may be low on energy and not be able to retain information.
By adding a vending machine to high-traffic hallways or wings of the building, we will be able to quickly offer students the nourishment they need, while also collecting additional money from the vending machine and raising money for the school district.
Schools normally have a budget that they need to meet. They have to pay utility bills, new books, and organize trips. These costs can be partly met by the revenue generated by vending machines. Since students and the staff are encouraged to buy from the machines, there’s always profit streaming in.
The use of vending machines will also improve performance rates in sports, having vending machines would allow students to get food, before, and after, sporting events. People who come to watch the events, and even the competing team would also pay for the food or drinks.
Shouldn’t we improve our students’ andstudents and teacher’s performances? Athletic, and academic?
