Disney is supposed to be a magical place where families go to enjoy time together and make memories. But over the years has it fallen off the pedestal of being a magical experience? In this article I will be talking about my recent experience at disney and talking about what I liked and disliked.
My family and I spent a total of two days at disney and visited three out of the four parks. The first park we went to was Epcot. Epcot is the park with all of the countries and the big ball with a ride in it.. My dad is a big Disney fan, so he got up early in the morning and got us fast passes throughout the day. A fast pass gets you to the ride quicker than the normal line. While walking into the park, it was absolutely stunning,. they had flowers in the shape of famous Disney characters and the vibe as a whole was beautiful.
As we were walking to the first ride “Test Track,”, we stopped in a Coke store that lets you sample different flavors from around the world for free. After we arrived at the ride, the line was not too long and everyone there was very nice. Right before you get on the ride, they let you design your own car, my mom and I made one while my dad and sister made another. The ride was super fun and it went very fast. The next ride we went on was “Guardians of the Galaxy,”, and it is probably the best ride at Disney. My personal bias comes into play a little because I love the movies, but the ride goes very fast, backwards, and spins you around. While that is happening, they play music from the 70s which I love.
The next park we went to was Magic Kingdom. This is probably Disney’s most famous park because of the castle. My family wanted me to go on their newest roller coaster titled “Tron.”. This ride was awesome because instead of your normal roller coaster, you sit in it like a motorcycle from the movie. The ride was awesome because it takes you outside of the main area and you can see the park if you’re not too focused on how fast you are going. Next we went on “Small World” because that is my mom’s favorite ride since she was a little kid. All in all, this park was very fun and it looks beautiful at night.
The last park we went to was “Hollywood Studios.”. This is my favorite park because it is themed like Hollywood in the 1950s and the workers are dressed like this era. The first ride we went on was “The Tower Of Terror.”. This ride makes you go up and down super fast. I really like this ride because it reminds me of watching TV with my pop because he loved the show “The Twilight Zone”, which the ride is themed off of. Next we went on “Rise of the Resistance”, which is a “Star Wars” themed ride. This ride puts you in a buggy and has you go spinning and twisting. I really liked this ride a lot because I am a big “Star Wars” fan.
All in all I loved being at Disney and my family did as well. It truly is a magical place and it is still just as fun as when I was a kid, even if the lines can get super long. If you ever have a chance to go to Disney I would definitely recommend taking it.
