Order 1: On his first day in office, Trump pulled the United States out of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Paris Climate Agreement due to the mishandling of the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic.
Order 2: Trump signed off on the “Unleashing American Energy Bill”, which encourages energy exploration and production on Federal lands and waters, including off-shore territories, to fit the needs of American citizens.
Order 3: Trump ordered to end the guarantee of birthright citizenship. While the 14th Amendment states that all people born on American soil are guaranteed citizenship, he ordered this right to not extend to certain children born within the U.S. depending on the status of their parents residing within the country. This order has been blocked by a federal judge due to it being unconstitutional.
Order 4: Trump pardoned around 1,500 of the rioters who were convicted after the Jan. 6 raid on the capitol. For those who were not released, Trump issued communications that shortened their original sentences.
Order 5: Ordered the renaming of the Gulf of Mexico and Mount Denali in order to “restore names that honor American greatness.” With this, the Gulf of Mexico would be officially renamed to the Gulf of America and Mount Denali would be renamed back to Mount McKinley after the former president.
Order 6: Signed an order that would only recognize two unchangeable sexes, male and female. It calls for the government to remove “radical gender ideology guidance, communication, policies, and forms”. This includes forms such as passports and visas to reflect one's biological sex. Trump also stated that “Agencies will cease pretending that men can be women and women can be men when enforcing laws that protect against sex discrimination”.
